Inside is a Smaller Me

Well, hello! With the spike in followers after the last few weeks, I think it’s about time to finally do an intro.

I’m Rae, I’m 19 years old (20 in December! Sort of exciting). I volunteer twice a week at my local hospital’s cancer care center. I’m single. I’m an evolutionary biology and neurobiology double major and pre-med. I’m an atheist and a feminist. Libertarian socialism is my political party.

I started on this weight loss journey full boar probably around June or July of this year. I’m not sure what struck a cord, perhaps just being tired of always being the fat one, I cannot recall of a time of ever, ever being in a “healthy” weight range. So I have no idea what it’s like to not be fat. I would like to know.

I’m absolutely not “pro-ana” or “pro-mia”. Healthy eating and exercise are absolutely the way to go. Slow is better than starving.
