from rachelsimmons.com: I am sitting, cross legged, on the bathroom floor trimming my five year old daughters’ toenails. My nine year old son showers his muddy body as I lean against the tub. My three year old daughter wrestles herself into pajamas in her bedroom. My eleven year old son bursts…
I can remember the day I went to my parents with “I’m fat.” I was five. I can still remember my mother’s devastation, and my dad being trying every story trying to tell me I was wrong
stretch marks are fucking cool, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Your body’s a damn battlefield and you’re still alive

THIS IS ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT. if i ever get discouraged that i didn’t lose enough.. or something i should take a nice look at this nasty chunk of fat lol
I think this is amazing. I don’t care if there is fat all over my body, even in a relatively, this is still amazing.
whenever i lose “just a pound” and i’m expecting/wanting to lose more, i look at this and am suddenly proud of the pound i’ve lost. good riddance.
i lost three of those so far. go me!
so gross, but so encouraging!
